They refers to themselves as the “crazy Canadian denim nerds” and within just a few years they’ve imprinted their name into the minds of fellow denim lovers around the world. It’s of course Naked & Famous.
News from Los Angeles. Mister Freedom just released this Californian made Cotton Sack Coat that is perfect for the summer. It’s made in a small production batch from a limited yardage of vintage NOS (New Old Stock) fabrics from Mister Freedom’s archives. I’ve been waiting for this particular pair of jeans for a long time. Ever since I first saw them at the Mister Freedom website I’ve somehow been wanting a pair of my own, and now I finally have it. At first I thought they were a bit too much of it all with the big hand painted leather patch, the huge back pockets, and the high waisted 50s silhouette. But slowing I was drawn by all the classic details that I now value so much. Let me give you a little tour of this pair of truly authentically made in the U.S. of A. “new classic” jeans made with an unmatched eye for the detail, material, and quality.
In recent year, Aarhus has in many ways removed itself out of the shadow of Copenhagen. The combination of rural idyll, mini-metropolis, and a growing range of cultural experiences and education enhance the city’s appeal to the youth. On the fashion scene the city has as well stepped it up. Through two years of employment out of the three years I spent as a student in Aarhus this shop became my second home. Therefore, it is a pleasure to present this shop review from [ei'kon].
