The Impossible Made Possible

Freshly smelling 6-months worn in jeans without washing, get out of here! But now it is possible. Tokyo-based lifestyle brand retaW (Water spelled backwards) produces natural body care products, scented candles and fabric conditioners. The smell of unwashed denim worn for a long time is a common issue for many denim heads, and it’s something we often get questions about.

Recently retaW introduced the new MOOD* Fragrance Liquid for Denim; a conditioner with a hint of mint that without washing or loss of indigo will remove that distinctive odor from your well-worn in jeans that your girlfriend can’t stand. Forget about throwing your jeans in the freezer, this is the solution you’ve been looking for. That being said, here at Denimhunters we haven’t yet tried the product out ourselves, so please report any experiences you might have.

We have requested retaW about online retailers and it turns out the only webshop outside Japan carrying the product is Purist in San Francisco.
