In the pursuit of transforming Denimhunters from a traditional blog and into an online lifestyle magazine, today we’ve come a little bit closer. We proudly present to you, the very first Denimhunters trend report. Our aim is to inspire our readers and give you new ideas of how to wear your denim, and how to use the many shades of blue. This is not to be compared with classic, costly, and glossy high street style reports you normally find in printed magazines done by overpayed photographers and anorexic models that are photoshoped beyond compare. This is real men in clothing you can actually wear. They don’t even wear any make-up and we didn’t spend hours doing their hair; this is how they looked walking in from the street.
Most of the clothing used is by courtesy of the seven shops in Copenhagen from which we kindly borrowed it, some of it is from the private wardrobes of Kasper Schübeler, Peter Rerskov, ‘the Wrenchmonkees’, and Thomas Bojer. All photos are taken by Paw Ager in the Wrenchmonkees workshop. Oh, and did we mention that nobody got payed doing this; they say nothing is for free, but you can really go a long way on goodwill and helpful friends. We hope you enjoy it.
Some of you may have noticed the handkerchief in Peter’s back pocket. Unfortunately, it slipped out when we put text on the photos, but you deserve to know that it’s made by Hill-Side and you can buy it from GOODS.
