The eco-conscious Swedes from Nudie have been experimenting with how to get the darkest kind of blue and along that idea they’ve dyed black and blue together. The result is a capsule collection (or injection as they call it) of three new organic denims made exclusive for Nudie. It’s all twisted, streaky and dark. Every piece is an experiment with the mixing of black and indigo. Washing, bleaching and tints turned them into different shades. Some turned warm greenish, others ended up colder, grey’s and blue’s. They all share the streakiness.
The Slim Jim below is a 15 oz. 100% organic denim with a coarse character with long, uneven slubs. A light wash with cold, bright blue on a dark surface.
