So, for now we will have to do with the reports of others, and for that Sportswear International did a pretty decent job. The new shop was already mentioned in our interview with store manager of the Neue Schöhauser Strasse store, Daniel Werner, (read it here) and being surrounded by luxury mono-brand designer boutiques the new 14 oz. store strives to be a highlight of the West Berlin shopping scene.

The store is located in the historic Haus Cumberland, which was built in 1911/1912 by architect Robert Leibnitz as high-class boarding house, but instead served as a Grand Hotel, and later as facility for cultural and administrational institutions. And with over 600 square metres of shopping space, 8 metre high ceilings with original stucco, brick walls and authentic wooden furniture the new store really takes your breath away.
