In that spirit, a fashion flea market was held on the first sunday of November and behind one of the stalls was mr. Euroman, fashion editor Frederik Andersen, one of the most dedicated Levi’s Vintage Clothing collectors in Denmark, who sold treasures from his wardrobe.

The 1983 is no longer part of Levi’s Vintage Clothing line-up. The fabric is the last Cone Mills Redline Selvage used by Levi’s (before LVC of course) it has a very smooth surface, which resembles the Kaihara fabric used 505 model. Regarding details the similarity with present 501s is striking. The jeans have “small e” Red Tab, no hidden rivets, the hem stitching is some millimeters higher than the previous models, the lemon-coloured thread is not to find anywhere and the buttons are polished blank. As for the fit, however, the 1983 is one of the widest of the 501s since the models from the 1930s.
