It is with great honour that we present to you our mainstay of the month of May, Mister Freedom. One of our long time personal favourite brands in the clothing business, Mister Freedom never conforms to conformity, and founder and designer Christopher Loiron (above) is a creator among imitators. Mister Freedom was established almost a decade ago and today the powerful brand both represents a unique Hollywood-based vintage shop and at the same time the “Mister Freedom Originals” are some of the most extraordinary new-vintage clothes you can get your hands on.
In cooperation with the Japanese denim experts from Sugar Cane Co., Mister Freedom each season launches a limited and exclusive clothing collection (also known as the MFSC). Some pieces are made in the US some in Japan. Each collection is based on fictional characters with historical backgrounds. The result is historically plausible garments that have never previously existed. The spring 2012 collection is themed “Men of the Frontier,” and Loiron found inspiration from photos like the ones below.

Mister Freedom present the collection one piece at a time. The first part of the story is this chapparal.
