It’s been a couple of weeks since we co-hosted the event in Illum, but we still have a little unfinished business relating to it. Going through all the answers in our competition we found a winner of the Canadian Suit from G-Star RAW. His name is Jonas Asp and he’s from Copenhagen. Congratulations to Jonas and thank you to all who participated.
Summing up the “Explore the Wonders and Mysteries of Denim“-event in Illum the weekend of the 26th-28th of April can be done in one word: experience; and it seemed we really created some attention about it all. But this was only the beginning. Throughout the rest of 2012 Denimhunters and Samsøe & Samsøe will be hosting more events in the 3rd floor jeans shop, which will eventually lead up to a huge celebration of denim and the good life!
Now, the “Explore the Wonders and Mysteries of Denim“-event that we are co-hosting in Illum (Copenhagen) this weekend isn’t all over yet, but as I won’t be there today (Saturday) to hand out the questions for our G-Star RAW competition I’ve decided to put up the questions on the site for everybody to answer. Also, I know there are a lot of people who wouldn’t make it to the event either because they were busy, out of down or simply because they don’t live in Copenhagen or even Denmark and of course you shouldn’t be deprived this opportunity.
Here are a few snap shots from the first day of the event in Illum. Yesterday the theme was denim as workwear, today (Friday) we will explore the wonders and mysteries of the wardrobe of cowboys.
As part of the event in Illum this weekend you have the opportunity to win a pair of jeans and a denim jacket from G-Star RAW. All you have to do is answer 3 questions. Of course they relate to denim and if you don’t know the answers by heart you can find them by searching a little through the articles here at Denimhunters. Sounds interesting? Well, to get the questions you’ll have to show up in Illum Thursday or Friday this weekend between 4PM and 6PM. But we’ll reveal bits on the questions, just as a teaser.
Studying marketing I’ve often come across the concept of co-branding; when two brands form some sort of alliance to work together, which creates marketing synergy. But I’ve never had the opportunity to try it out myself, until now. I’m very proud to announce Denimhunters’ first event collaboration with one of Denmark’s leading commercial fashion retailers, Samsøe & Samsøe. Together with six of the mainstay denim suppliers, Denimhunters and Samsøe & Samsøe will host a three-day event in the denim-concept-shop on Illum’s 3rd floor.
