The Fourth Episode of The Denim & Boots Podcast
It’s now a week since Jake and I launched The Denim & Boots Podcast, and the reception of it has been quite overwhelming. So many comments, shares, DMs, and not least listens. We seriously couldn’t be happier!
Today, we’re releasing the fourth episode in which Jake and I talk about the jackets that we (and other denimheads) often wear with jeans and boots.

Continuing the introduction of ourselves and the topic of heritage style, the episode gives an overview of the most popular and common jackets that denimheads often wear, divided into four categories:
- Leather jackets (including the A1, A2, G1, cross-zip, café racer, half-belt and car coat)
- Non-leather military jackets (including the N1, M65, bomber, tanker and pea coat)
- Denim jackets (including the Type I, Type II, Type III, Lee Rider, US Navy shawl collar)
- … and other jackets (including chore coats and more)
Going through the four categories and these highlighted styles, we also discuss best practices for what other garments go particularly well with each jacket.
