SOSO Brings an Instant Classic Ombre Colourway in a Heavy Flannel—And You Can Design Your Own
The guys at SOSO have been making some big waves with their recent jump into the heavy flannel game.
The Swedish made-to-order brand has built a loyal following with their offerings in heavyweight denim that you can get tailored to your exact specifications. Now they take that approach to the heavy flannel category too.
They’ve done flannels before, but they only recently managed to track down a thick flannel with a double-brushed interior—something that can go toe-to-toe with heavyweight flannels coming out of Japan and the US.
SOSO dropped their first ombre flannel in black/blue earlier this year. It really caught my eye, but I knew they were working with the mill to create a 13.5 oz red/black/blue ombre, so I sat on my hands and waited for them to perfect the recipe. And I’m glad I did.
This new colourway is far and away the best flannel in their line-up, in my opinion, and it’s going to be with them for a long, long time.
It’s got all of the makings of a backbone piece, both for the brand and for the collector:
- It’s made of Australian cotton
- Features Japanese YKK snaps, and
- It can be made in whatever way you like, in whatever dimensions you need.
The one I’m wearing features black thread, antique copper snaps, and the brand’s stock Western style.
The SOSO Brothers are so so excited about it that they’re doing a special promotion:
When this shirt drops at 6PM CEST on Friday September 6th, the first 20 SOSO Members can get one of these for a three-digit price that starts with the number 1.
You’ve never had a better reason to become a SOSO Member (here). But those 20 shirts are sure to go fast, so now’s NOT the time to sit on it.
